The Technique First Swim Clinic DVD is a great teaching tool for coaches and swimmers. 

Olympic coaches Rohan Taylor (coach of Leisel Jones and Shayne Reese) and Grant Stoelwinder (coach of Eamon Sullivan and Libby Trickett) take you through the four strokes and include their personal tips on how to improve technique and skills.

Featuring students aged 8 years to 16 years who participated in a swim clinic coordinated by Technique First, the clinic was filmed and Rohan and Grant provide you with an insight into the drills they are using in the ongoing development of junior swimmers through to their High Performance athletes.

The Clinic includes skills and drills in the four competitive strokes – freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.  It also includes footage on starts and turns for the four strokes.

The DVD considers how you can use these drills to develop correct technique and the appropriate application of the drills with all levels of athletes through the footage and audio feedback from both coaches.

Also on the DVD you will be able to see Dry Land exercises for young developing swimmers demonstrated by Olympic Diving Coach Chava Sabrino, coach of Mathew Mitcham 2008 Olympic Diving Gold Medallist. Chava works with many NSWIS Swimmers.

Added extras are interviews by the swimmers with Leisel Jones, Olympic Gold Medallist and Shayne Reese Olympic Relay Medallist. These athletes give a light hearted insight into their swimming and interests.
